After your exam is completed, Dr. Brad Masse will take the time to review your exam results along with your medical and dental history. Then, together you and he will develop a personalized treatment plan to help you maintain or create the Signature Smile you deserve.

Gum disease is an inflammation of the gums that can progress to affect the bone that surrounds and supports your teeth. It is caused by the bacteria in plaque, a sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth. If not removed through daily brushing and flossing, plaque can build up and the bacteria infect not only your gums and teeth, but eventually the gum tissue and bone that support the teeth. This can cause them to become loose, fall out or have to be removed by your dentist.
Gum disease can occur at any age, but it is most common among adults. If detected in its early stages, gum disease can be reversed. So, see your dentist if you notice any of the following symptoms:
-Gums that are red, puffy or swollen, or tender
-Gums that bleed during brushing or flossing
-Teeth that look longer because your gums have receded
-Gums that have separated, or pulled away, from your teeth, creating a pocket
-Changes in the way your teeth fit together when you bite
-Pus coming from between your teeth and gums
-Constant bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth
The American Dental Association recommends all patients have their teeth professionally cleaned and evaluated twice per year. Patients with more advanced gum disease require cleaning 3 to 4 times per year as the bulk of inflammation and destruction of bone support happens in the later weeks since their last cleaning. Most patients only require radiographs once per year.
Our priority is to make your time in our office the best and most comfortable dental experience you have ever had. Just as all dentists are not the same we realize that all patients are not the same. We all come with a past that may contribute to anxiety or even fear. We will patiently listen to your concerns and then will be better able to work with you to determine the best ways to make you less anxious and more comfortable.
Some patients fear the unknown. Dr. Masse and his staff will always explain in detail what is proposed and performed for a patient.
Some patients are nervous about the injection. Dr. Masse has great pride in making sure that his dental injections are more comfortable than what patients have experienced in the past. The anesthetic is placed extremely slowly so that the tissue can start to get comfortable well before the injection is finished. We also keep the anesthetic in a warmer so that it is body temperature when introduced. Even though our office has relaxing gas in every room, and anti-anxiety prescriptions are available, after seeing Dr. Masse and his staff, 99.99% of our anxious patients are confident, comfortable and relaxed enough to not need either.
Some patients are afraid of the costs of good quality dentistry. We will file your insurance for you and be able to help you calculate your co-pay before committing to any treatment. To help, we offer many payment options including 0% interest financing.
